Autumn falls on the French Broad River not far from Tennessee
Appalachian Trail near Hot Springs, NC
Hot Springs and French Broad River

We were amazed BY the beauty as we walked INTO the beauty along a section of the Appalachian Trail as it hugs the French Broad River and passes through Hot Springs, NC.

  1. Well, New Heaven, I call Nature secular because it is here and now, and it’s a sanctuary open to all of us, believers and non-believers. (This blog is “Secular” Chaplain, which may give a hint). As for the “glory of God” I’m not sure what that means. Do you find every living thing alive with the glory of Krishna or Kali, Allah or Adonai, Jesus or Joseph Smith? I suspect you are seeing the world through Bible glasses, which is fine, as long as you’re honest that billions, literally billions, of people see this wonderful world through different glasses than your own.
    Peace in the secular sanctuary.
