I just posted this Thought for the Day on Beyond God.
(click over there and click right back. . .I’ll wait. . .)
These questions always bubble up and out when I read stories as I did this morning:
A Summer Camp for Jewish Boys (all about books and beliefs rather than nature, exercise, having fun. . .sad really)
The “No God but OURS” believers in Iraq chasing the “No God but OURS” folks out of their village (Christians) and the “No God but OURS” folks into the mountains (Zoroastrians).
(This is why I’ve referred to religion as Circus Maximus. . . the bloody arena, the comic/tragic drama, the endless stage play)
So, I ask here today, What if Religion/Faith/Spirituality has nothing to do with “God”?
And, if you believe: What if God has nothing to do with the God Circus?
