I haven’t read this book yet, but the review is intriguing enough for me to order it.
Down in the Chapel (Joshua Dubler)
What Does Religion Look Like in Prison? (Pacific Standard)
It sounds like some of my experience “chaplaining” in a county jail system. I was telling a student today about how I would lead up to seven “gatherings” in the jails for ten years. Unforgettable times (see My Address is a River for a few stories).
Once I read Dubler’s book, I’ll post my take on it.
